I feel like easy cooking tonight, and I wouldn't mind a large dose of garlic so I'm going to make this slow-cooked version of Lemon Garlic Chicken where the lemon and the whole garlic cloves cook down to a sweet goo. BTW I use breasts and thighs instead of whole chicken.

It's both comforting and summery at the same time.

With a green salad and crusty bread - maybe some Fino reduced in the juces as a gravy....

I am putting these ingredients on my shopping list... Nigella and a slow cooker at the same time! How can you go wrong?

If you feel like a more interesting salad this one goes with it really well, and it uses up stale bread at the same time

Nigella rocks-and I've made the whole roasted chicken with 40 cloves of garlic and it is so very good. What's life w/o garlic!!!!!!!!???????!!!!!

My mother and grandmother never let a clove of garlic cross their thresholds.
