I had heard so much "hype" about them , then finally got to eat in one.

Not impressed!

I can think of several better ones in the same price range.

I think they are living off their " theme" rather than their food.

Just basic "American" food with a slightly southern accent. Meatloaf, vegetables, fried fish, etc.

When you enter the restaurant there is a "gift shop/country store" area with old fashioned candies, gift items, etc. The dining rooms are covered with "country-style" memorabilia--tin signs, old clocks, etc.

We used to go for breakfast after late nights out, lol!
