We had a 'Santa Fe chicken' cooked in the crock pot. (Chicken breasts, black beans, tomatoes, onions, lots of spices, brooth, cooked for hours until the chicken naturally shreads.....and frozen corn added at the last.)
Yesterday - pounded thin chicken breasts coated with pecan pan fried golden, home made rice-a-roni, butter lettuce, sautéed mushrooms. Yes, I wandered out into the garden with a flashlight to get parsley.
Pot roast, shell paste, lots of merlot. Nothing like remodelling.
Tocino (Filipino barbecued pork) with rice and kale salad.
