Although it's extremely local, Weathervane Seafood is excellent.

Can't believe it took 7 pages before someone mentioned this!!

For all of you who put 5 guys burgers and fries , we have a local place called cookout that makes 5 guys look like slumburgers .
RED Robin-NO nasty burgers and way too exspensive.
Only thing 5 guys has going for them are their fries, so good. But their burgers are dry and tasteless. I have several in my area and always been disappointed. Cook Out is a solid good cheap eats! Their burger still are juicy and have flavor, not the best but consistently good.(according to fam) I like their spicy pulled pork.

Oh, and I forgot to mention Bojangles. We ate at one on a road trip last year and it was awesome. I think we were in North Carolina at the time...

I don't care if it goes to all 50 states, but what I really miss is Friendly's. Decent 'american' food followed by excellent ice cream. We celebrated many many occasions there in NY.

I have yet to find any place in NC that has table service and ice cream sundaes. I think there's a market for such a thing here.

They do sell Friendly's Ice cream at Food Lion.

Would love to see more Freebird's. They are the best of all the burrito chains in my opinion (Chipotle, Qdoba, etc)

Seriously? If been to at least six Red Robin's and, while expensive, serve some of the tastiest 'bar style' food I have ever eaten.

I tried Cook Out for the first time in April. I liked it a lot more then I like Five Guys.
