Thoughts with you AmazinGracie.

I made a crock pot of bracciole, meatballs and sausage with gravy, to serve over pasta. Salad and warm bread with seasoned olive oil. Tiramisu for dessert.

We're doing a rib roast, baked potatoes, green beans, fruit, coffee and scones for dessert.

Thinking of you, AG.

Tonight, son might get out of hospital. Dinner? ???

AG, Pickle - we will be thinking of you. Hang in there!

It will be us and our furries. Sunny out there but so windy it is impossible to open windows.

SO requested "those long winded potatoes", fiery chicken and no green stuff. He will get two out of three (peeled, quartered potatoes, partially boiled then oven roasted with butter, olive oil, garlic and caraway; crunchy outside fluffy inside), bone-/skinless chicken thighs are marinating in Sriracha and lime slices. There is no way around that green stuff two days in a row))

Hope your Christmas wish comes true, pickle!

Keeping it simple -- roasted cornish game hens, steamed asparagus, mashed potatoes. cookies for dessert.

Roasting a pair of ducks with mashed taters, gravy and a token veggie or two.

Missing my soldier boy serving overseas and my daughter and foster daughter who are away at college, but grateful to share one last Christmas day with my beloved uncle who raised me and a first Christmas with some new friends. Baked ham, sweet potatoes, corn casserole, cheesy pineapple bake, green beans and a brownstone cake for our Christmas dinner. Wishing all of you out there much love and peace today and always. Ree
