I'm in the mood for comfort food. Big crock pot of center cut pork chops (bone in) I brown them in a little EVOO, boil a cup of hot water and add to that 1 tbsp of ketchup and drippings from frying pan. I add that to one can brown gravy and top with cut up white onion and fresh saurekraut. Cook on high 6 hours. I'll serve with mashed potatoes and I made a deep dish apple pie for dessert.

Honest to goodness, we went there for lunch one day and got the $1.49 double cheeseburgers and they were awesome.

Just to let you know. Even with all the good ingredients, it was still unremarkable. DH really liked the mushroom gravy from scratch, so at least that's a keeper.
