I'm with the "leftovers " crowd- the best part of roasting turkey, is the day after!

Cooked whole sweet potatoes (SO had a baked potato) made the BEST pan gravy! So easy, since it was a herb and maple butter glazed turkey with plenty of celery and onion in the cavity, the drippings were so flavorfull, I just added a little flour and made a roux, some broth, yummy ...

Green salad and moms cranberry sauce on the side!

Leftovers here too. Still have more ham so I'll have to get more creative tomorrow.

Sick of leftovers. We had grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches and chips.

More leftover prime rib. I'm going to have a thick cut of that with two eggs over easy and some toast. A protein, iron and cholesterol bomb for dinner. The prime rib was quite pricey, so there's no way I'm tossing it out.

Leftoverish here, too. I used some of our Christmas pork roast in a quick chili. The last of it will be dinner tomorrow night, with fresh sides.

Yep, I'm back! I've been more lurking than anything else, reccing occasionally.

On the road where there are some Hardee's joints and I have a craving for a mushroom and Swiss. That's the scheme.
