We went out for an early dinner, super casual typical New England seafood place. West Boylston Seafood Restaurant & Market The husband and both boys got the clam plates (fried clam strips, fries and Cole slaw) and I got the fried haddock sandwich with lettuce, tomato, red onions, no cheese! It came with fries and Cole slaw and a Sam to drink.
Happy Saturday night all![/QUO
Awww. I know west boylston. We lived in Boylston when I was born. Parents were building a house when there was a big hurricane in the 1950s that destroyed it. We wound up in Worcester instead.
I can't rep you yet. Even if I could I for some reason I can not leave any kind of message.
I have head of the hurricane you speak of. I can't remember the name but I have heard stories of the big one around the fifties. Personally I absolutely love the whole greater Worcester area.
I have some ground beef that needs to be cooked, so I think I'll make stuffed peppers tonight. I haven't fixed those for quite a while. And some yellow string beans w/ thyme and braised leeks to go with.

I just looked it up. It was a tornado, not a hurricane, and it was 1953.

Hmmm...I always thought that was in Springfield. I need to polish up on my weather history!
My husband is leaving this afternoon for the week. He is off to Long Island for work. Since it is just me and my boys tonight I am making miso soup. I will double the tofu so it's more filling. I bought some frosted sugar cookies for the kid's dessert.
Happy Sunday!
