Bought some sirloin steaks (boneless) Going to make a stir-fry. I am marinating the steak in a little soy sauce, worstshire, garlic and ginger. Stir-frying it with mushrooms and onions over rice and a Caesar salad on the side.
First night home from vacation. We are having fish sandwiches, curly fries and roasted asparagus. While grocery shopping in Georgia we ran across Duke 's tartar sauce. What?!? I never knew they made it. Bought it and I will try it on my sandwich tonight.
Have a great Sunday everyone!!!
Probably chicken fajitas, rice, salad, sippin'bourbon on the porch for desert.
I forgot to take the baby backs out.
Frustrating when you forget to take something out, but it seems we can always find something decent. None of us seem to be short of cooking ideas here. Enjoy the ribs whenever you have them.
Lobstah rolls with waffled mac-n-cheese (pressed in a Belgian waffle maker - the outside is crispy, and the inside is warm and gooey).
Oh my goodness - I must have waffled mac-n-cheese. I'll even eat a Lobster roll if it means waffled mac-n-cheese. How do I make such a wonderful creation?? And why was I not informed until NOW that I could have been eating this for the last fifty years? GAH - it sounds HEAVENLY!
Tonight we're having the Sunday usual - Porterhouse split (he gets the strip, I get the filet), baked potatoes on the grill, mushrooms, onions, some kind of vegetable (I really don't feel like doing the whole asparagus thing - maybe I'll do corn) and for dessert, I'm not making anything. Not feeling the whole steak and stuff thing today.
