Tonight chicken tikka with basmati rice ( with cashew nuts,clove and cardamon ),cucumber,onion,green chili raita. To drink either beer,lassi or lemon water. For dessert kheer with rosewater,cardamon and pistachios and a cup of Darjeeling tea.

we have been sick (not eating much) all week-

tonight made a Italian sausage, three cheese, bell pepper, mushroom LASAGNA!
Kind of a heartstopper special but boy was that good.

Tonight we're having shrimp and andouille jambalaya (it is already in the slow cooker), corn on the cob, fried okra, and toasted garlic bread.

I'm trying to duplicate the pear/lemon drop martinis that we had at the Metropolitan Grill in downtown Seattle. They were delicious!

I'm not a drinker but even I know this: have fun practicing getting those martinis right!

Manicotti stuffed with ricotta, minced mushrooms, and fresh baby spinach baked with marinara sauce.

Broccoli and chick pea salad with lemon thyme and minced garlic and shaved parmesan.
