We're going with shaved ham sandwiches tonight (and maybe some of my leftover vegetarian gumbo). Someone on this forum mentioned shaved ham recently, so it has been stuck in my head since then.

Shaved ham? Is that the same as Chipped ham?
I'm having a simple Club Salad with Ranch dressing for dinner tonight. Blueberries for a snack.
A pita bread with healthy-style margarine & strawberry spread, a nonfat strawberry Greek yogurt and a large mug of organic black tea with a teaspoon of sugar
Spent the day moving to our new house. Dinner was take out, I'm not cooking after that! My step daughter and her husband helped us and had dinner with us. We had a pepperoni pizza, an artichoke prosciutto pizza and the step son in law had a balsamic chicken wrap. DawnMTL we took your suggestion and ordered from The Corner Grille. It is only maybe give minutes from the new house and it was fantastic!!! Thanks for the tip!
pirozhki (Russian empanadas, basically), with roasted yellow squash with sour cream. berries for dessert.
Wow, those do sound delicious! I believe I might have had them in Ukraine. but they were called varynishkas.
(I am spelling them in phonetic Ukrainian, so it might be wrong. In Kiev, we often went to a restaurant called "Varyniki I " that specialized in these delicious dumplings, both sweet and savory. They must have had literally hundreds of varieties. I loved the many berry varieties as well as the kapusta and kartoshka types potatoes and cabbage. All with sour cream.
I think they were more like a Polish pirogi than an empanada.
