Still on an early schedule. I made chicken wings and after they came out of the oven I was about to slather them in my favorite BBQ sauce, but decided to try Thai chili sauce with them instead.

OMG. New favorite!!

No pictures today, I was too busy chomping down!

Chicken and andouille sausage jambalaya with red beans on the side and a salad. Working from home is the only time I get to cook during the week so I like to make something that sticks to the ribs!

last night (forgot to share) was super yummy "stuffed " burgers- mix an egg onions Worchester sauce and some good multi grain breadcrumbs into lean burger and ball it up around a chunk of cheese - the cheese melts as you grill it, delicious (we used our local Tillamook pepper jack for some zing)...

tonight will be chicken tacos - easy summer meal, chicken is so cheap at the market I bought a bunch (have leftovers from brunch earlier today) so will just chop up some romaine, tomato, avocado, and have it with chunky salsa, cheese and refried beans in corn tortilla....

I soaked the beans over night. Since I'm making the jambalaya, I decided to do the beans with no meat. Just onion, garlic, green and red bell pepper and celery sautéed in some evoo then tossed the beans back in with some chicken broth, cayenne pepper, paprika, a bouquet garni (bay leaves, a few sprigs of thyme and parsley though I wish had some sage too). House is smelling rather yummy!
