Okay now... I know tomato gravy very well. For me, it is indeed made with bacon grease as a starter to sweat the tomatoes.

Do you have chunks of bacon in the gravy? It sounds like you do and it sounds like I need your recipe!

Making wieney kabobs, which is a recipe I cut out the other day. Of course we can't grill it outside cause it is pouring down and is supposed to continue all day. I think I will have squash casserole with them and maybe rice.
