Tonight (actually, this afternoon, since I got up obscenely early), chicken wings with Thai sweet chili sauce and fresh corn on the cob ...

[this is where the photo is supposed to go but I didn't take one ]

It was yummy! Next time I will have my phone nearby for photos!

Pesto noodles with sliced grape tomatoes
Shrimp cocktail

Salad with a bunch of greens, veggies, egg and black beans. I'll make up some ranch dressing.

Do you make your own Marzipan?

Old fashioned Autumn Vegetable Pot Pie - (you can add chicken if you like - I use Gardien Chick strips)

Apple, pomegranate salad with Romaine and toasted pecans.

Pumpkin pecan bread.

Yes I do.
I use this basic recipe for years.

100 gram blanched almonds finely grinded
80 gram powder sugar
a tiny bit of Rosewater
5 drops of bitter almond extract

Sometimes I dip the marzipan into melted Belgium chocolate or I make shapes and brush them with a bit of egg white and sit under broil griller for a short moment until top of marzipan is light brown.
