I don't usually eat pork, but bought a nice, large, on-sale, smoked, fully cooked ham that I cut into huge chunks to freeze & eat a bit at a time. Baked one piece in the oven today, for some reason in 80-degree heat & ate with a lettuce-tomato salad & oil-lemon dressing. It was good & I have enough ham left over for ham & eggs b'kfasts for the week.

Have a good weekend, All.

Early dinner/late lunch today while out and about in north central Massachusetts. We stumbled on this place https://www.blackcowburgerbarturners...menu#menu=menu. I had a burger with pepperjack, a hot relish, caramelized onions and bacon and cajun fries on the side. Honestly this was the best burger and fries I have had in years. I am going to make it a point to visit this restaurant (it is maybe an hour away from me) again!

Haven't had that in so long. I'm going to make my own soon... will be my 1st time. Can I ask which type of sauce you used with it?

For me, just a lettuce-tomato salad with lemon-oil dressing. I somehow bit my tongue in my sleep a couple of days ago & it's still so sore, I have little appetite. Also, didn't think this through very well... the lemon & acidic tomato didn't help the discomfort level very much.

Followed by a double espresso... you know, for extra vitamins & minerals.

Have a good week, All.
