There must be something in the air Did it ever happen to you that you stand in front of your closet with all the cloth, but you just don't know what to wear and quietly say "I got nothing to wear".Well that is happening with my cooking since a couple of days.I look through my favorite cooking books, read online, get suggestions but nothing looks tasty. This whole week Mr.Almrausch took over cooking and it was interesting food we had the past days and it is time to take over my kitchen again.
My mind became a bit clearer today when I put the word "Pizza" in my scrabble game So pizza it is tonight made from Durum flour, homemade tomato sauce with spices, onion, ginger, garlic, green and red chili, green olives, green Bell pepper and Canadian marble cheddar cheese. To drink a glass of Ontario red wine.Later by the fireplace a card game of Schafskopf and a glass of Glühwein with a slice of orange cake I baked yesterday.
Have a good weekend EVERYONE!
Yes to both.
For some odd reason, nothing sounds good. Full pantry, full fridge and full freezer.
I do NOT cook well when I'm not in the mood. Even the tacos and pizza I made were sub-par. I haven't even been really hungry. I should roll with that, and see if I can drop a few pandemic-pounds.
I've read blogs, reviewed my Pinterest, looked up new techniques.... and nada, zilch.
Tonight is leftovers, I will go for the ham and pea soup (that did come out well) and DH will go for the lasagna.
