Burger must be cut in half. A spoonful of hot (undiluted) cream of mushroom soup must be drizzled on each bite. Fries also do be dipped in said soup.
Dam, now I want a cheeseburger!!
Cream of mushroom soup? Now that is different. It's very similar to mushroom sauce on a steak, I suppose. I wouldn't have the patience to drizzle each bite though...I'd just drunk in the fashion of au jus. I'm gonna have to try this.
We had to do it. Made wild goose sliders for dinner. Dusted off the little grinder and used 1.5lbs goose breasts, 1lb bacon and .5 lbs leftover beef trimmings. Mixed up some fresh patties and straight to the hot grill. My son grilled them and gave them our house 'stamp'.
I prefer a crispy crust to my burger. 2 thin patties are better than 1 thick one. tomato, lettuce, fried onion strings, some blue cheese bacon and some spicy ketchupy mayo on a thin bun. I don't like the bread to be too overwhelming.
I once had a burger from a place called Jackson Hole in NYC. it was roughly 1 pound of unformed burger with an egg on top. though it was an interesting experience to have such a large burger, it wasn't all that good.
