Me, cooked or raw......shrimps are good eats!

I'm brining 12ct devein/shell on shrimp right now, don't know if I'll smoke it or saute it. Grill'n/smoke'n is easy, do I have to explain?

I'm plan'n on saute'n in evoo, shallots, celery, tomato, garlic, and either dry vermouth or beer(used to deglaze).

Brine has dill, old bay, thyme, blk pepper, garlic(2 cloves).

Shrimp is very common and easy. How do you like them/cook them?

It'll be a fast smoke, 325*. I don't know how they'd do w/a long smoke.....may get rubbery. More like grill'n, but on a hot smoker.

When will your private jet be land'n in the wheat field for supper? Ya got 1/2hr, after that.......might just have to settle for popcorn and good Bronco FB game. .......oh, bring some beer.......Billy will be along shortly too, I assume. I only have a 30pk for me......eh, Broncos aren't doing so well........Chiefs beat them!

Fresh.

Beyond that, about the only thing I haven't cared for is pureed into a paste; it was a sushi dish...that was kind of gross.

Fried, fried and fried

Then skewered on the grill, then shrimp cocktail, then well just about any way.

Grilled or sauteed. Never fried. Never breaded.

If I were to answer this, I'd sound like that guy from Forrest Gump. I like shrimp all kinds of ways. Except raw.

OK. Off the wall. Go ahead and hot smoke them and then simmer in some hot wing sauce for a few. Not so hot as to cook more, just enough heat to get the hot sauce into the shrimp some. ie: Buffalo Shrimp. It's worth a try on a few. Who knows they may be the next rage of Kansas.
