I am looking for some good dessert recipes,ideas or suggestions...we are have some people over for dinner on Saturday, and would like to make a nice dessert too. I had this truffle once at restaurant, it was delicious. Any good recipes for this? or any other suggestions welcome

This is gorgeous, I have never made it but had it at some friends. Wonderful served with some "creme Anglaise" ( thin vanilla custard)

And this is my very favourite dessert in the whole wide world and much easier than it sounds :

I also often make my own chocolate truffles which are really easy and quick to make and taste gorgeous. And always impress people too !

And you can customise them with any liqueurs you like, nuts, flavourings etc...
I sometimes make them as a present for people to take away :

Otherwise how about a good Almond and Pear Tart ( serve with a dark chocolate sauce and heavy cream or even some good vanilla ice cream) :

Desserts are not exactly my speciality so if I can make it anybody can.

It is like real Mayonnaise , it sounds a lot more daunting than it is.
