I'm not too keen on Rachel Ray.

I just bought her magazine and I am cooking out of it for the next two days. Much easier then the show to digest.

Ha ha you guys are funny. I actually used to like Rachel Ray a lot in the beginning. She made more "everyday" non gourmet meals which suits me better than the "real" chefs. At least I knew I could find the ingredients to make her meals and I wouldn't have to also spend a fortune.

She is overly upbeat but I would rather have that than someone that is droll and boring. Regardless i don't watch her anymore. Too much Rachel Ray for me.

Thats part of the reason, I like Tony Bourdain. He's funny and he tells you honestly what he thinks of something.

If anything the biggest douchebag in the cooking world today is probably this guy:

Over-rated, over-exposed. Time for her and hubby to go She doesn't want to start a family because her career is going so good and she doesn't want to give it up. I don't know about you but I had a career and a family and we all turned out okay and didn't have the money she's raking in for help.
She got lucky with connections, not with her talent.

I have no problem with Rachel Ray and would invite her to a dinner party in a minute. I do have a problem with her over exposure. She is on everything it seems.

I absolutely cannot watch Rachel. Her goofy/phony upbeat acting just drives me nuts. I must confess, I turn her off when she comes on. I couldnt stand one more EVOO, Yumoo, sammies, delish-es, etc etc. Her recipes are probably OK for those who really arent into cooking that much but want to turn out a simple meal. No problem there, its just not for me.

Can we say "overexposed"? Also..while we're at it...same goes for Paula "Butter" Dean.

SHe may be overexposed and a bit chipper.... but... I have a very picky six year old eater at home... who LOVES her and will stop doing whatever it is she is doing if she is on tv and suggest the meal is she making at the time.... I am not a CHEF by any means and she makes easy meals that I can make on my busy schedule that the kids will eat. For me.... a stay at home mom who struggles to make food my kids will actually injest without complaining.... I don't mind her at all....
