Quick question Kelsie---and if you already posted it I am sorry because I don't recall seeing it---how did you make your chicken with pesto last night? I have some chicken thighs and am deciding on chicken marsala or ???????

Good afternoon!

I'd like to thank everyone for their well wishes on my DH colonoscopy. What a great much of friends!

Tonight for dinner i'm making Angus Hamburgers, cole slaw (KFC) and some potato chips. Here's the best part, dessert. I went to this bakery near me that recently opened, called Crumbs. (Actually, it's a chain and very popular in NYC). We bought 3 cupcakes, Grasshopper, Devil Dog, and Reese's PB Cup. They're expensive $3.75, but they are huge. Can't wait to taste one.

Have a great Saturday nite!!

Southdown, so nice to see you.

Name that fish, huh?

Don't know what's for dinner yet. Went to Costco yesterday and bought a bunch of meat, so it could be just about anything.
Hey NMS, great to see you again!

Did somebody say cocktails?! It's 8.30pm here so I'd say it's definitely cocktail hour - all I have is gin, tonic and fresh lime, think that will do! Cheers!!!

I've had dinner already, two Indian chicken curries, oinion bhajies, nan bread and rice. YUM - stuffed!!!

Southdown....I bet you are loving access to plentiful curries again!!

We are having pork chops simmered in the crockpot with cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, beef broth, garlic, onions, and crimini mushrooms. Will have stuffing and green beans on the side.

Plans change. Went to Costco, not the supermarket, so no burger buns.

Will have moo-shu meatballs in flour tortillas with hoisin sauce & green onion for dinner.

On the way out, DH remarked "I'm so sick of chicken!" so back in the freezer the whole chicken I was going to roast went!

I bought some beautiful australian lamb chops from Costco instead, which would've been much much cheaper for Vichel. T

his will be a nice treat tomorrow, broiled or grilled. I'm going to put it in a zip-lock overnight with EVOO, garlic, and some herbs from the garden -- probably rosemary, thyme, and oregano. I am still eagerly awaiting the basil. It's about 2 centimeters tall right now!

O yes, HG I'm certainly loving the curries - but then again, I love pretty much everything!

Love Debsi's idea for lamb too, I'm roasting a whole leg tomorrow with garlic and rosemary....mmmm

Wife says to thaw the flounder out. Rice and tomato gravy and biscuits. Most likely some spinach to round it out.
