You forgot about his "lost" years before he went to the CIA and was a drug addict...but I like him too.

Are you trying to make a joke? Or you don't understand that CIA in culinary terms is the Culinary Institute of America, an elite school for chefs?

There's a man who leads a life of danger
To everyone he meets he stays a stranger
With every move he makes another chance he takes
Odds are he won't live to see tomorrow

I like him.

Anne Burrell - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

She is rude. And wears ugly clothes. Her hair is a disaster.

Looks like someone who isn't a foodie is responding to the reference to Bourdain's stint with the CIA - the weapons of choice at the CIA in question would be a plane slicer or a Santoku knife, not a firearm and a license to kill. Funny things happen when someone tries to question a celeb chef's credentials. Which reminds me - what credentials has Rachel Ray got? I loved Bourdain's criticism of Food Network and specifically some of their 'chefs'. I have to say I enjoy watching his show No Reservations, you have to give the guy credit he does not edit out content that makes him look foolish and he doesn't strike me as someone who takes himself too seriously.

Someone suggested I get a copy of Kitchen Confidential - it's on my Amazon wish list in case anyone wants to gift me. . (J/K of course)

NICE, you can stick up for the highly-perfumed elite all you want......overhyped claims about war service and all.....what the **** does that have to do with real food???

Give me a real hero in the culinary field......that barfbag Zimmern fits the bill as a non-snooty food lover!!!!!!!!!

Noticed hulu.com has The Frugal Gourmet old episodes up for viewing...

No way could I watch him without nausea!
