When I lived in Spain I really fell in love with some of its cheeses: Mahon, Tetilla, Iberico.... This weekend I gorged on a strong, stinky, triple-cream Senne Flada from Switzerland.

Post What is your favorite type of cheese?

What is your favorite type of cheese? Living in Wisconsin currently I have a wide variety of excellent local cheeses to choose from without exerting much effort.

I have more than one favorite, so I just chose pepper jack. But some of my other favorites are provolone, havarti, muenster, and asiago. Then the other normal cheeses that are on burgers, sandwiches, etc. Cheese is just all good....

I can find a pound of high quality cheese locally for under $3.00 a pound. Locally sourced cheeses are so great and I have a local pizza restaurant that I frequent that uses gouda. So good!!!

I probably have to pay two to three times as much for some cheeses...so i never get high quality cheeses so I really enjoy it when I do get it.

I love chevre. Best cheese ever. I put it on steaks, on pasta, on bread. The only time it was gross was when I tried it with raspberries - just didn't work.

I do also love pepper jack, though. But chevre above all else.

I agree! I cannot pick just one - it depends on the opportunity (like at a company catered event) and my finances.

Gjetost. It's a Norwegian cheese that is best sliced thinly and served with fruit and crackers.

It has a sweet taste. I love it!

I disliked most cheeses until the past couple of years..

I love trying new types..

Soft cheeses like Brie..
Seems anything Kerrigold puts out..
I have an amazing advantage.. Huge Winn Dixi Cheese shop... no business..
Good deals for me.. Lots of samples..
