My supper turned out to be pan fried pork chops, rice and pan gravy, broccoli in cheese sauce instead of the linguinie with broccoli and Alfredo sauce. I should know now not to guess by what I see in the on deck circle in the fridge.

Patties made from leftover mashed potatoes, canned corn, and a little pork sausage, fried in the sausage grease. Salad on the side, leafy lettuce, tomatoes, olives, grated romano.

Today was DH's 60th birthday. All year he's been craving a bloomin onion from Outback...not something we would ever normally eat, because we can't afford the calories. So we went, and it was so good, it was well worth it. I had their wedge salad with steak and it was also absolutely delicious. It was awhile since we'd been to Outback, but we'll definitely go back soon.
