The Galleria has never been closed. You must have it confused with some other mall.

Mike,

I thought you were a 25 year old male and not a 16 year old female. Why would you want to waste your time in a mall? LOL!

Lol, I like my nice clothes...and yes I like girls. Not that there is anything wrong with being gay. Noticed how I threw in Best Buy also haha. I like my video games as well.

Mike,
Ha! Don’t be anxious, because I was not questioning your sexuality, just kidding around a bit.

I have not purchased a video game in five years, but before you squander your riches away at Worst Buy it might be to your advantage to inspect some of the new/used video game shops.

Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise is not far from Ft. Lauderdale and has a newer section with all the top brands. It's ~3 million sq. ft. Wonderful!

Sawgrass is good for certain items. It is primarily an outlet mall. It is a heck of a drive from Hollywood though. About 30-40 minutes. Aventura is the nicest mall in Broward and is only 10-15 minutes from Hollywood. Both malls are always very crowded with tourists.

If you want an in-and-out mall with less crowds go to Galleria in Fort Lauderdale or Broward Mall in Plantation. However, both of these malls have less stores than the two mentioned above. If you just need to hit JC Penneys, Dilliards, Macy's, etc. go to Broward Mall. But the anchor stores in Broward are not as nice as Aventura.

Aventura is in Miami-Dade not Broward, but agree that it's a great Mall.
