There is a site that talks about hate groups around the country. Davie does have some. I will ask my wife the name of the site you can get the info from.

I dunno. I live in East Davie, have a business, run into a lot of folks (a lot of them old timers from this area), and I haven't met one yet that gives me those vibes - in fact, I've met a bunch of Repubs who want Obama because "it's time for a black president".

There are some active Neo-Nazi groups in Davie. There is no KKK south of Fort Myers.

It's the same as any other Broward suburb just more breathing space, less traffic. It's one of the more desirable areas now, the median family income went up almost 20 grand. Most of the militant racists move to Tennessee 5 years ago, the remaining ones tend to live in east Davie. Not saying there aren't any racists there anymore but at this point there aren't any more than there are in the other cities.
