I see people posting that they are relocating because they are getting job offers in Florida.

Just curious to know which areas are hiring.

What do you do/will be doing?

Me too, I'm trying to relocate by April but I need to land a job before I make such a huge change. I am a Jr. Accountant and would love to continue in that field if possible. I sent out my resume to a couple of place today but lets see what will have, I know it is a competitive market out there.

You can find a job in accounting down here but you will not get paid what you would in other places for the exact same title (whether you have a degree or not).

No matter what field of expertise there is almost nothing here job wise? I've been laid off for nearly 2 months now and nothing has come through yet. Im even willing to take a $7.00 hour job just to have one but even those are gone or i get the same everywhere "Sorry but were not hiring now" I was in the construction material delivery field for 18 years(12 years at the last $60-65k) and im willing to take whatever comes along.

There was a report in either the sun sentinel or the miami herald that said healthcare facilities are laying people off. Said they haven't started with doctors yet but if things keep going this way they might. If I find the article I will post it.

*edit*

found a article (not the one I read before) but will post the original one I read if I find it.
