I know of MANY people that are moving out of Chapel Trail in DROVES because of the escalating crime. West pines is NOT what it used to be.

What kind of crime are we talking about and who is committing it? People that moved from where specifically (what neighborhoods) or is it the Hollywood & North Miami/OpaLocka people?

I think the problems you are speaking about is a problem in a lot of broward county and nice parts of Miami and Palm Beach.

Crime can happen everywhere and PP is a pretty big city with relatively low crime for the size of the city.

Ok... I'm just wondering if this is not being blown out of proportion though. I have never had any of those two in the almost 15 years I have lived in my almost 100% hispanic neighborhood in Miami. It's not upper class but people do make decent incomes in this area. I don't even have an alarm system sign and we don't live in a close gated community either.

I guess it depends how close you are to some specific areas, so maybe those Miami & Hollywood neighbors affect the area. I did see a girl getting robbed the first time I went to East Pembroke Pines so I kind of got a bad first impression as I have never seen such thing in Miami.
