LA has fabulous weather, year round. Even the past couple of days their dew point was low so it still felt nicer than Fort Myers. Today, it is much cooler there. It will be about the same temp in Fort Myers, but once again the dew point in Fort Myers is ridiculous and it will be uncomfortable. It's the end of September but you all have been sweltering for five months. But ENJOY! I've been sleeping with the windows open. We won't have to put on the air until next May and it has been that way for awhile. Heat? Eh, not so much.

In another month, or less, it will be much better. Then you can concentrate on getting out of there!

A buddy of mine moved to Arizona and told me it was really hot there. I said at least it is dry heat. He said it is like turning on a hair dryer and blowing it in your face...minus the wind. Nice and dry.

LA is not Arizona so I don't get the analogy. LA has fabulous weather, year-round.

The analogy is that heat over 110 degrees is terribly uncomfortable regardless of the dew point.
