Yeah, but like I said, the utilities are going to be what makes it take longer to build/replace.

Fortunately, the toll road idea is officially dead. When it died about a year ago the city council set up a local government corporation to handle the park. No word on any progress since, however.

I really do hope that your Trinity River park ends up spectacular.

Truth be told, I'd like to see BOTH cities finish their Trinity River projects before I'm a senior citizen.

Just seems like Dallas may take even longer, unfortunately...

Nothing official. You could still see the building go up.

But it may all depend on the developer.

I think it’s going to go up. This is the only building of its kind currently planned for Fort Worth. They should have no problem filling this condo tower up.

Yeah it's quite a mud duck, but it's going to be a game changer when it opens kind of like 1401 elm in Downtown Dallas

Am I the only one concerned about the job performance of Fort Worth mayor Betsy Price? The bus stops and starts with the mayor. No major companies have relocated to the core, no major push to get more young folks in the core, the city under her leadership doesn’t seem very progressive, Fort Worth economic growth is pretty weak compared to the growth in other parts of the Metroplex. The city just seems stuck.

Instead of going to Austin to promote the city at SXSW it might be more beneficial for the city to establish a 4 year institution downtown if the city is really interested in drawing young folks to the core.
