$20 for a conair set, divided by more than 60 cuts so far. The previous norelco set lasted 7 years, I paid $12 for that and usually cut my hair every 3 weeks. I am a guy and unless I am going for a new job interview, I don't care. To be honest, when I have used Sams/Supercuts etc, they have done worse than my own cut.
I pay nothing. Do it myself . I have amconair kit from walmart that cost about 16 dollars. When it seems to lose power I replace it which is about 2 years worth of use. I would never consider paying for a haircut lol.
I've paid everything from $50 (back in the good old days when a paycheck wasn't an embarassment), to $3 at a local beauty school.
Today I found a place just opened, all haircuts $4.99, opening special, right next to a new gas station, gas $3.79/gal! what a traffic jam!
Well, the haircuts will go up to $9 per cut next week, but still, a good deal. so, what's the going rate for a haircut in your area?
I used to get the "works" done, cut, condition, color, highlights, yadda, yadda, found if I just get my hair cut and do the color myself I save $$$ and look the same---well, people still recognize me..........
Beauty schools do cheap haircuts like that ? Wow never knew that. I know friends that would def take advantage of a great offer like that
Here in Minneapolis I pay $12 + tip for a haircut. When we're in Mexico I never leave without getting a haircut, which will cost me 20 pesos (about $1.80 US) with no tip (they aren't expected there)....a helluvadeal!
My girl charges $55 and that's cheap - excluding places like Super Cuts.
If my hair wasn't so difficult to manage, I would probably go to ones of those, but I find the cheaper places don't know how to handle my type of hair.
Around $35 - I go to a nicer salon that discounts if you go to one of their "new talents".
