Nice going, all. Made a big pork soulder over night low and slow in the oven that will feed us for a week.

Mom is coming for a few days so I loaded up on groceries at the el cheapo bag your own store.

I first knew about sharpening disposable razors on jeans on Youtube. It works very, very well. They come out like new. After sharpening I wash the razor with soap. No added risk or anything negative to using the sharpened razor. I'm sure the razor companies don't want consumers to know about this trick.

-Cheers.

Doesn't that ruin the jeans?

Took back a box of hair conditioner my DD bought me for $25

I gave her my debit card and asked for some hair conditioner. I didn't specify, so, she bought a jar for $25!!!

Well, I didn't have the receipt, but I got an in-store credit, then, bought 3 bottles of vitamins, which were on sale, and also I had a coupon for $2 off each, so total was ~ $8-discount $2 - coupon $2, each bottle was $4 x 3 = $12 total, remaining $13 bought gas.

Are you sure you didn't get her mixed up in the hospital?

went to food pantry today and scored a tommy hilfiger robe.

They were trying to give away a new in box patio umbrella but it was too big for the car and we already have an umbrella.

Does this count? Through Craig's list gave away 7 pair of like new men's slacks to a man who had just gotten a job and needed them for it, and a pair of never worn winter boots to a local woman. Reverse frugality?

The heat finally dropped down out of the 90s so the windows are open and a/c is officially off - electric is my highest utility bill. Will be nice to see the bill spike back down.

Not buying groceries for a few weeks, not eating out, and instead using up some food that has been around for a while in the house.

There's no need to be judgmental. Lots of people buy $25 hair conditioner.
