Little harvest before dark. Green beans are still producing, zucchinis of all things are not, lol.

We've been picking tomatoes here and there, but looks like we will have a good number this week. Fall spinach, turnips, bok choy and beets are growing.

Picking some more. Garden is still producing green beans, some yellow squashes and we're going to have a bucket or three of tomatoes soon. Also 2 rows of potatoes we'll be digging up this weekend.

Gonna be busy in the kitchen in a few weeks!

Supposed to get down to 35deg tonight, so we're covering some of the plants.

Seen that coming a week ago. Good luck. BTW.. Your growing season lasted longer than mine this year and I haven't even dropped below 55° yet.

There's been a few frost warnings so far. This one seemed 'for real'. It was 32de this morning, so glad we covered. Looks like a decent next 7 days.

I'm not sure if our growing season is longer. Maybe we start later. Honestly last week of May first week of June is when a lot of the temp sensitive plants go in. Figure 70- 75 days for an average for Celebrity tomatoes (under ideal conditions)- that puts us right about there.

Mid May-Mid September for us here. Maybe because you have a lot more crops it seems like your harvesting more later. Not sure. I'm all done here except a couple cherry tomato and pepper plants.

How did your plants do after covering them?

They’re fine. Some are turning yellow- normal fall stuff. It’s supposed to be 80 today and not forecast to dip into the 30’s the next week. Maybe one night..,

More tomatoes, a few more ripe peppers, and believe it- strawberries.

Had a BLTP for lunch. SPICY!

Getting some more stuff off. dug up 2 of the 3 rows of potatoes. Reds and Yukon Golds were ready.

Pulled off some more cayenne peppers, tomatoes, a few squashes, strawberries and a handful of green beans.

35lbs of potatoes. If the third row of German Butterballs is as good as this harvest we should wind up with 60lbs of taters.

WHOA! You guys been busy! Would like to hear more about precip totals and the weather there. I find it fascinating how long you can go on picking. I see 30s in Iowa this morning (I know your not in Iowa, lol)
