The beets are in the main garden. Technically- it's all raised beds, lol.

I believe they are 'babybeets' from Johnny's. Small and sweeter than most I've had.

Got a volunteer in the compost pile. Mystery plant. We'll see what develops.

Well could be... The variety we generally grow has different leaf coloration and shape. I guess we'll find out at some point, lol.

Everything is doing really well. The one row of spinach needs to come out and I think we're planting a different variety of bok choy and some collards.

Corn is almost to my shoulders. It should stop it's vertical climb and really start pouring energy into ear development now. Time to side dress some more nitrogen.

No fruit on tomatoes or peppers yet, but the potatoes look fantastic.

It looks exactly like the one that I have. I wonder how the orphan got there.

Love your variety and lack of weeds!

Loving your corn updates. Will you need to pollinate the ears yourself?

I've never hand pollinated corn. We usually get enough wind/breeze where hand pollinating is not necessary.

Threerun, I asked Cambium this, so I guess I'll ask you too: do you get mice in your garden? The videos of all the mice terrorizing New South Wales in Australia totally freak me out!

Also, what are you growing in the tubs right outside your wife's gardening shed? Oh, and I love seeing that -- I remember your thread when the garage and that shed were being built! I was so envious, LOL!

No real problems with mice. We have dogs out during the day and two cats that are out at night. If anything we have mice in the straw around the compost bin. I think they munch on stuff in there, because they can stay hidden from predators.

Occasionally we get prairie dogs in the garden, and they can ruin it real fast. They get popped with a rifle.

So my wife has various herbs in the sheep tanks and one that has produced all of our lettuce this year (and still producing). That area only sees partial sun during the day, so they may get moved. She's on the fence about it.

Yeah it seems like a lifetime ago with the shop and garden shed! My interior walls and ceiling are painted OSB. I began that in 2018-2019 and when I calculated my OSB (it was $12 a sheet) I was literally 2 sheets short. Then this pandemic wackiness hit and I'll be damned if I'm paying $75 a sheet to finish the interior, lol.

Ahh.. always something to do here...
