Well the chipmunks are back and busy in my backyard digging tunnels everywhere. They did this in the front yard a few years ago and yellow jackets joined in the fun and nested in one of their holes, which I stepped in.
So I'm looking for "final solutions" to get rid of them.
Exactly .....I had one I nicknamed "chippy"...superfast little guy....only time I didn't like him
was when he went into my garage....
Now raccoons on the other hand.....they are pure evil.....super strong fiends...
cost me big bucks to get them out of my attic twice....and filled it up with their poop....nice
Chipmunks I like .....also squirrels too....
I have rabbits and skunks I have to deal with too....both not as bad as those satanic raccoons...

Cheap and easy.
I used this after they undermined my concrete sidewalks and garage apron, causing WAAYYY too much damage. Seriously, almost $1000 to fix.
Got three dozen in several days.

While they can't climb into attics or steal your stuff as efficiently as raccoons, IMHO there's nothing on this earth so noxious as a river otter den. My previous office building lay along a marine cove just above the high tide mark. We kept small work skiffs and kayaks flipped upside down all along the protected shoreline to grab on short notice. At least 2 different river otter families loved to dig snacking spots, napping beds, and pupping dens under every boat as well as under our building. They stank to high heaven, not only of poop and musk gland secretions (don't p*%% off an otter; you'll regret it), but of the remains of fish, urchins, and crustaceans they'd haul back to them. Nothing better than flipping over the boat you planned to use and gagging at the stink first thing in the morning. Then you had to go to town with bucket and brush before sitting in the boat was tolerable.

LOL, I already have that pile too. And an entire woods all around me.
Ditto - the only time I see chipmunks is when they are running back and forth from my firewood pile. A while back there was one on my front porch starting to build a nest. But my SIL scared it away when she walked up to the door.
