We decided to turn a section we’ve previously used for cabbage into an asparagus patch. That will be our spring project.

The green makes perfect fillers for flower bouques. Beware of sticklers though!

I'll be adding asparagus too, I started them from seed a few weeks ago.

There is an invasion of zinias on the horizen:>) Last years collected seeds are sprouting in a party tray with lid. Crazy but humming birds, butterflies and all bees love them.

This is my first year of planting frost tolerant plants in March, both in ground and seedlings. It's working well so far.

We have toasty spring weather next week so I'll plant some flower seeds.

We bit the bullet and ordered some 3yr old Martha Washington's from Gurney's. We're going to really amend the soil in that patch- this may be the first time I actually buy bags of compost. BUT my daughter just started working for the largest and oldest nursery in Bozeman so - heh-heh.....
