They are and really great places stay if you do decide to live there. Seattle Center was very fun to visit in Belltown/Lower Queen Anne (as is all of the area). Seattle has large percentage of college grads, low crime, great divesity and so much more. Can't wait to get back there, but for now after I'm finished with college I will be heading to Southeast Alaska, but will be able visit friends/family there more often.

I would suggest visiting whichever city you want to live in before you move there.

Here is one map that illustrates my point:

I would also encourage you to not take too much stock into articles about "best cities for singles" not only because it includes males and females, but because it is just completely opinion (especially Forbes which is not reliable).

Large cities are in general. Refer to the above map.

Thanks, looks like Chicago fits under that bubble in Illinois, indicating many single women, I have seen stats backing that up.

No problem. However, there may be another city where people's personalities would fit yours better which would make it a better singles city for you personally.

Thanks. What type of personality do you think Chicago caters too?

Another poster could probably cover this better than I could.

Anyone saying DC is good is on the pipe, thats the worst area to be a single man. Way to many ugly and stuck up girls and golddiggers. Only place where you see women almost always dating a man better looking than them.
