Are there any cities on the east coast with weather similar to Southern California? (home, prices)

Not really. Personally, I prefer the hotter weather. It just makes swimming more comfortable, makes the ocean water warmer, and I love it in general. Again, it's just me. The closest areas on the east coast for what you're looking for would be the Outer Banks of NC or the Virginia Beach VA area. Good luck!
Despite the myths about the south being especially humid, compared to the West, the Northeast and the Southeast are nearly identical in terms of humidity. It's just the warmer it is, the worse humidity feels. Regardless, nowhere is dry on the Atlantic coast until you get down to Brazil.
That said, some people here have overstated things a bit. If you are right on the Atlantic Ocean, the climate is generally milder, with slightly warmer winters in the North, and cooler summers in the south. Windier as well however. Somewhere like the Outer Banks you'd end up with the weather seldom below freezing in the winter, and rarely above 90 in the summer, but still pretty clearly have a four-seasons climate.
Not even. Humidity and dew points are lower on the West Coast and all over the West. I've lived in the L.A. area for many years, and have also lived in south Texas (plus traveled all over the eastern U.S.) Anywhere east of Colorado gets sticky humidity that makes you sweat. The humidity rarely makes you feel uncomfortable in the West. California is lucky that the water in the Pacific comes down from Alaska, keeping the ocean much cooler than the Atlantic ocean is on the East Coast. That keeps those dew points and humidity lower, and prevents hurricanes from hitting California.
If you can deal with 95 degrees with a dewpoint of 77 (55% afternoon humidity), then the best you'll do is Corpus Christi or Brownsville, TX. Besides being similar temps in the winter, they have their sunniest weather in the summer (July&August) and rainfall drops off those two summer months before picking up again in September
It is still unforgivingly hot in both cities well into September.
It's cold in the north, hot and humid in the south. Is there someplace in the middle with moderate weather most of the year?
The north is not cold year round and the south is not hot and humid year round. How could you justify a places weather by just one season. Anyway I don't think their is anywhere on the east coast with moderate weather like southern California, either winters would be too cold and summers too hot.
