Which of the following cities has the worst overall weather for your tastes? Consider the part of the year you find most annoying and weigh it against the time of the year you found most pleasant.
A) Seattle: 9 months of cold overcast drizzle and almost no sun but pretty dry summers with lots of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Never hot. Occasionally get snow but not every winter.
B) San Francisco: cold, foggy summers with no rain but lots of cold, damp overcast but very mild winters with some cold rainy days but also some sunny days that are actually warmer than their so-called summers. No seasonality whatsoever. Frostproof in winter despite its cold summers. Horrible for seasons lovers and those who enjoy real summers.
C) San Diego: Comfortably warm weather with lots of sunshine and stability but some people find it too boring. Frostproof. Occasional summer heat waves are usually dry heat.
D) Minneapolis: brutally cold winters with lots of snow and dangerous windchills but still gets way more winter sun than Seattle. Summers are warm and humid and severe weather with tornadoes are possible in spring
E) Oklahoma City: 4 seasons climate with very hot summers and variable winters (can be brutally cold but also has sunny, warm days). Right in the heart of tornado alley with risk of F4 and F5 tornadoes that can destroy entire towns (the tornado risk alone might be a reason for some people to vote for it).
F) Houston: pleasant but variable winters with mostly warm and mild weather with the occasional cold snap. VERY humid and sticky summers; highest average summer dewpoint of any city in the U.S.
G) Phoenix: EXTREMELY hot, hot summers but most of the time, it's with low humidity. When the monsoons come, the temperatures drop and it's never as humid as Houston. Very comfortable winters with lots of sunshine with crisp nights and warm days.
H) Pick your own city in the CONTINUOUS (no Alaskan cities allowed) U.S. and tell why.

on this list Minneapolis. The list is ridiculous. San Diego? Really? No Buffalo, Chicago, Pittsburgh...
Minneapolis is colder than Chicago, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh so those who hate cold (including me) would vote for it as being worse than the other 3 anyway- kinda of pointless to have multiple cities with very similar climates so I tried to create a diverse range of climates as possible, including the ones who most people regard is being pleasant. Some people hate monotony even if comfortable. Different strokes for different folks.
I voted Phoenix. Hot as hell for 8 months, even through the night, almost no rain, relentless hot sun. Muggier than people believe too.
Seattle is really bad as well, that moldy damp climate makes it so people are always sick.
Its not "hot as hell for 8 months". Good grief. 4 months, yes. The other 8 months are near perfect in my book. Relentless sun? Yes. No rain? Yes. Those points Ill agree on. And its only muggy for a few weeks when monsoons arrive, then its back to dry. Id say 10 months are dry, 2 months solid are humid.
My vote on this poll goes for Seattle. I cannot stand overcast skies and rain/drizzle/mist, hence the reason I chose Seattle. Temps in Seattle arent bad, its just the dang gloominess that would drive me bonkers.
I'm going with PHX because it seems like it's almost always too hot, close to year round, in the 2.5 years I've been here. Houston would be a close second but they have the fact that summer isn't nearly as long there going for them IMO.

Having lived in both Minneapolis and upstate NY, upstate NY has much worse weather. Minnesota is mostly gorgeous 7 months of the year, upstate NY isn't quite as cold but is gloomy for much of the year. It also snows a lot more.
In terms of god-awful temperatures, Minneapolis by far. Houston nor Pheonix are even close (lived in Houston, had an ex-gf in Phoenix, been there a lot including the summer).
San Francisco's summers are terrible, but at least it's sunny and the winters are tolerable. San Diego shouldn't be on this poll.
My vote goes to Great Lakes Region , North East , Houston area.
