I agree with your choices though. We definitely need to get Toledo back into Michigan where it belongs!
Yep, I meant Sarnia. Silly autocorrect.

A little reverse to the OP but: I've always wondered what would Arlington County, D.C. look like if it was not retroceded to Virginia?

To my native Pennsylvania, I'd add five counties, all in Ohio: Trumbull, Mahoning, Portage, Stark and Summit (Youngstown, Canton and Akron).

And with the exceptions of Dauphin (Harrisburg), Berks(Reading), and Lehigh(Allentown), I'd gladly trade any county south of I-78/81 for one more in the Buckeye state. What a football powerhouse that would be!

For New Mexico I would annex five counties in Southern Colorado to take in some more peaks of the Rockies; Las Animas, Costilla, Conejos, Archuleta, and La Plata, counties in Colorado. Their names would fit right into NM.

For the two states I'm close to, the extra counties in both cases would come from New Mexico.

Oregon needs to take Siskiyou, Humboldt, Trinity, Modoc and Del Norte counties from California.

For Arizona, I'd annex San Juan county in Utah. The rest would be Montezuma, Dolores, Montrose and Mesa county in Colorado, basically the entire western slope since it's similar to northern Arizona. San Miguel county can stay with Colorado since it has more mountains.

I live in Delaware. I Would take:

Delaware County, PA - add population and some really nice suburbs of Philly

Chester County, PA - beautiful countryside and some corporate parks

Worcester County, MD - get Ocean City and tourism $$$

Dorchester County, MD - more rural land and Chesapeake bay access

Queen Anne's County, MD - basically the same reasons as Dorchester

Basically, Delaware would have part of the Eastern Shore, and make up more of metro Philly.

I don't think we really have to annex anything, but it would benefit Louisiana if we annex the Mississippi Gulf coast through Biloxi and Gulfport which are just east of New Orleans. We would get additional revenue from the gambling and tourism there and also have control of the Stennis space flight center.

But all those sports teams in one state would be amazing. So would the cities. Great choices.
Neither Hennepin (Minneapolis) nor Ramsey (St. Paul) counties are adjacent to Wisconsin.

Washington county is, and it the between the border and Ramsey county. Both Washington and Ramsey counties are between the border and Hennepin county.
