Individualism is central to the American worldview and I do think that can increase interpersonal conflict.

As far as being a society built on violence, that is pretty much all societies.

And as for guns, violence exists independently of them. A society with no guns is certainly not necessarily a peaceful one. A superficial knowlegde of history will tell you that.

I think the biggest factor is average age, if you notice the countries with average ages in the 20's are often the most violent and a country like Niger were people are so young that they commit less cres matters. I personally think if you organize all countries by the average age of men in that country you will see a strong correlation that between ages 16-30 their is a higher murder rate and those lower and higher on average have lower murder rates look at Japan and Niger one is old and young and they are both safer than many countries with the same race as them.

Murica does have a high crime and yet I have never been a victim of any crime violent or non violent. I wonder why lol.. Merica.

I have been a victim of a few crimes, and I've seen others that have happened so I definitely know it's there lol
