Gee, I would say a predominantely Arfican-American suburb is waht you're looking for.

So, in S.W. Ohio, I would suggest Trotwood and Forest Park.

Trotwood also has a predominantely African-American golf course Community, as well, and is located next to Dayton, Ohio, in a urban triangle that contains 10 mil. people. within 1.5 hrs. of Trotwood.

Joe2000, they may have had more murders, but in overall crime rate, Atlanta has been in the top for several years. And at one point it was at the top for murder rate as well.

^No, it isn't. Atlanta is ranked about 15 for last year. You need to really quit making up lies about Atlanta all over the forum. I makes you look pathetic.

It hasn't been the top murder city for many, many years - probably before you were born.

I always hear about Atlanta. Really it just depends on how much you can afford.

There are lots of very well off neighborhoods of blacks here in Chicago, and of course lots of neighborhoods with gross amounts of crime and poverty.

Country Club Hills in Chicago has 16,000 people, almost all of them black, and the median income for a family is well above $60,000 with 4% poverty. There are many areas around Atlanta like this as well.

^Yes, there are. There are a couple of neighborhoods in Southern DeKalb County with homes starting in the $700,000's that are totally black.

They did a profile on one of them several years ago on 60 Minutes.

Good picks....Actually, the Dayton area also has Wilberforce close by, which has two historically Black universities in Central State and Wilberforce.

Are there any neighborhoods in the city of Dayton that are predominately Black and middle to upper middle class?

Also, what about the Princeton area of Cincinnati in SW Ohio too? I think the school district is about 50% Black or so now. Forest Park is in the Winton Woods school district, which is about 70-75% Black student population.
