Although I've never been to Rome; Italy yes; GA, no. I feel drawn to your city. I've lived in Florida most of my life. I really love the look of the land and could easily call Rome, home. Are y'all ready for another transplant? Grandmother and Pop were from Savannah. Is there room for me in Rome? I'm a nurse, working in long term care, just looking for a place to "chill".

We live in the town of Rockmart, which is about 15 miles from Rome. It is very quaint and quiet. We have lived here for almost 4 years and would love to stay here but I work 40 miles away and the commute is getting to me so we have our house for sale and are headed for Canton. My sister lived in Rome also.

Please let me know if you have any specific questions.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I've not physically been to the area but have done alot of research. I'm trading the ocean for....? If the landscape is peaceful then I'll be content. I don't have to necessarily live in Rome, but like you, I don't favor driving much more than 30minutes to get to work. I believe I can work in many different areas in nursing. Thank you again for your response. God Bless
