True, the wind is a problem in Chicago. I remember walking around between the skyscrapers in January during a cold snap and the wind was truly painful to deal with. It seemed worse than anything I've felt here.

Not just downtown. I've stood on platforms waiting for the L and the Metra and literally thought I was going to die right there at that moment.
