I'm surprised there aren't more tar and feather responses.
The duct tape was just . . . . the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Anyone every ripped up some duct tape from their face? I'll bet it didn't feel good not to mention; airway obstruction.

Then add in the roasting photos and there is NO WAY I would let that Grandma near my child alone - ever again.

Some people are just too stupid to be responsible for kids. I hope it is that and not anything more insidious.

Exactly, I do a lot of silly sh#t with my kids, I call my youngest daughter "chicken little" and always pretend I'm going to baste her and throw her in the oven, it's a good time..lol But the duct tape, anything involving duct tape on a kid is kinda sick to me, a li'l too far!

The pacifier and tape cover the infant's entire airway. Also, the roaster pan was on a stove....think that's child endangerment.

She needs to be charged.

I don't see the humor in it! As a child of a woman with similar humor (who is also unstable and just plain mean) I was told all the ways she wanted to kill me, all with a laugh. Its not funny to that kid who grows up with that over their head. That they were hated enough to people to joke about killing them or to know that they spit out the paci too much and their caregivers wanted to duct tape it on

I'm glad I lived in a world where photos weren't common, and I just got to hear stories. But it is highly narcissistic to put this all out as a funny thing. Esp of your kid could find out.

The duct tape is not funny at all. The roaster is funny.

How is the kid going to feel when she grows up knowing her grandmother wanted to cook her? Pretty crappy. I know from experience. Its so evil to put that out there. We all have moments where we are at the end of our rope. But its not a joke

I think the picture in the roasting pan might have been considered funny if it had been done more artistically. The duct tape picture was over the top. You don't put duct tape on a baby's skin.
