Diy divorce help "due diligence" wording (Raleigh: law, legal)

I am trying to do a diy divorce ex can't be located no kids no property
the clerk of court has refused to accept my affidavit because they weren't worded properly. I have sent certified letters (returned not excepted) advertised in the paper and ex is also in another state. Can anyone please direct me to a resource that can help, Thank you .

You should be able to go to the Clerk of the Superior Court and obtain all of the necessary DIY documents for an absolute divorce. They will even have guides to show you how to properly fill out and submit them. Or, you can have a law firm create them for a small fee.

My clerk only tells me " it's wrong I can't except it" and when I ask what is wrong the response is "I cant tell you, it would be legal advise and I'm not allowed to do that" and as far as forms they tell me to get them on line but not what my jurisdiction requires. They are not helpful at all. this is a very small rural county and they have almost nothing online. Raleigh is very helpful but not here.

Whatever county you are in has a courthouse, go there, ask the clerk of court for the necessary papers You may be able to get your local magistrate to help you.

Please post the name of the county you are trying to do this in.
And is it the same state and or county you were married at or last place of spouses residence?
