Am moving to Greensboro in June with my wife and kid who is 7yrs old and would be working close to NW of Pisghah Church Road. I would like to take an apartment close to Golden Gate Shopping Center as I dont drive. So please suggest good apartments and school for my kid. Really Appreciate your help on this.

The Lexington Green apartment complex is nice and pretty reasonably priced.

If at all possible try to get your child into Brooks Global Elementary School, which is about 2 miles southwest near Battleground and Wendover. The school closest to the area you want to live in is not very good, actually quite poor. It's Cone Elementary School which scored a 2 out of 10. Brooks scored 9 out of 10. Under the "No Child Left Behind" law you have the right to seek a better school if the one near you has poor test scores as is the case here.

Default Apts.

There are lots of cool places to live in the Triad and some great things to do. When you get to down, pick up a copy of YES! Weekly as it is our Triad Wide free city paper that has all the events happening in the area.
