So me and my guy found a crazy home in Greer and I hoping to get some add'l info about the area. How are the schools? Is the area nice and safe or is it close to a bad neighborhood? Also, job info, I will be a certified elementary teacher soon with medical billing backgorund, and he has mechanic skills. Is the job market as bad down there as it is up here in NY?
So far the Greenville area has impressed us but before we do this we need to know what to expect. Any thoughts or comments would be great!!! Thanks

East or West side of Greer? East side is a bit more troublesome [but then crime is going bonkers all over the country] When I say East o west side I'm refering to Main st [or Hway 14]

Greer schools are mostly what I would call "okay" - not the best or worst of what Greenville has to offer. That assumes the house is zoned for high school in Greer. It could also be in the attendance zone for Riverside, which has one of the best high schools in Greenville. You would really need to get the address and check what schools are for the particular house.
