Myra Ruiz is now on the Fox affiliate in Columbia. She was off ch. 4 for several months before. Aly Myles is now a spokes person for a Spartanburg school district. John Eby is for Pickens and Beth Brotherton is for Greenville. Jimmy Watt is the spokesperson for the Oconee County Sherrif's Department. There may be more job security in being a spokesperson. Definitely with the school districts because they are paying into state retirement. I would think the hours are more regular as well.

Wonder where WYFF reporter Mandy Gaither went? Did not see her listed on their webpage. She was MIA during their Clemson coverage of the national championship.

Not really surprising. Watson was starting to look bored with her job, and Elise, well, she just didn't seem to have her head in the game the last year or so.

I'm sure this is going to sound snarky, but really not mean't to be, but new restaurants and even grocery stores are way more impactful and interesting than the comings and goings of local talking heads

WHNS' news operation leaves much to be desired in organization and quality of reporting and talent.
