    Hi all
This is my very first on line group. I love the snow and winter and skiing wearing jackets and boots. But almost everyone I meet rather have only sunny days. I live in CA, and would loved to move to a state with moderate snow. Can anyone help find such a city? I want to buy a house around $90g somewhere safe too

Autumn256, you are one selfish person!

Isaac just missed Puerto Rico and took all the rain away. Now it's 90's hell again.

*sigh* I cannot wait to leave this place.

2shapes, check out the Minnesota forums. They should be able to give you great advice on places to live. I'm guessing because in the Chicago forums they give great information about the area.

Man if I could, I would move where you are living now. I am looking for relocation to the Chicago, IL as soon as possible.

good day world,my name is Staci.and i have come to you for some advice.
on how to relocate my family to a new state.
we currently live in Illinois and would like to live in Minneapolis or St Paul.
i know i know its cold. but Winters dont scare us much because we are from Chicago.where winters can be ruthless
i know the Twin Cities is much colder.but the truth is we love winter and snow, snotcicles and hot cocoa and after doing much research, we have decided we would like our son to grow up a Minnesotan.the plan is to move with our tax return, early 2013.
but i honestly don't have a clue as to how to go about this... i am looking for suggestions. thank you very much for your help.

efrenb5, sorry, no way! We are enjoying a "cool snap" here on the east coast, lol. I'm gearing up for August, which is yucky, then looking forward to fall coolness. Thinking of doing the Alaska cruise next August, to be totally cool......

I feel like I'm right at home after finding this group! I am a cold weather lover in a warm climate, surrounded by warm weather lovers, pansies, and whiners. They start to moan when it gets below 55. I just smile and soak it all in. My girlfriend and I are both pasty white and burn easily, plus we adore the fall leaves and snow at Christmas, so we both wish we lived farther north. People around here seem to love the seemingly endless onslaught of humidity and heat, the 80 degree "fall," the 70 degree "Christmases." God bless them. I'm jealous of my northern brothers and sisters!
